Another Jury Duty scam is victimizing citizens. The scammer claims to be from the Sheriff’s office and tells the citizen they will need to pay a penalty for missing Jury Service or get arrested. Don’t fall for it!
Remember, all potential jurors for Pinellas County are contacted by U.S. mail. We do not contact you by phone and do not ask for payments, Social Security numbers, credit card numbers or other personal information. If you receive a call claiming that you have failed to report for Jury Service, hang up immediately.
